Firefighters rescue kitten that was traped in car engine in Kenilworth

Firefighters rescued a kitten which had become trapped inside a car in Kenilworth this morning (Monday July 6)

The incident took place in Common Lane at about 7.30am.

The young kitten had climbed into the engine of a car and couldn’t get out.

Crews removed the wheel of the car and were able to rescue the cat unharmed.
