Severe delays on M1 near Rugby after crash involving two lorries

A stretch of the motorway was shut just after 2pm

A stretch of the M1 southbound near Rugby was shut at around 2.15pm today, January 25, following a crash involving at least two lorries.

The closure affects Junction 18 to Junction 17, with a lot of motorists now stuck.
