Witnesses wanted after phone damage in Pump Room Gardens

A man has been arrested after damaging somebody's mobile phone during an incident in Leamington on Monday.

Police were called to reports of disorder in the Pump Room Gardens at 4.45pm on May 9 where they saia man damaged the victim’s phone before driving off in a grey Citroen estate.

It is thought he drove towards Adelaide Road and any witnesses to the incident are asked to contact officers to help piece together what happened.

A 44-year-old man from Stratford has been arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage. He was given police bail until June 8.
